Overview North West Private Hospital located in Burnie on the North West Coast of Tasmania requires a part time Career Medical Officer. Role Details Initially as a 0.6 position (24 hours per week) this day work role will provide clinical support to patients admitted to the hospital’s medical/surgical ward, high dependency unit and cardiac catheterisation laboratory (cath lab) under the guidance of the admitting consultants. Mandatory Requirements Registered Medical practitioner with AHPRA Registration Degree in Medicine from a recognised tertiary institution Current Medical indemnity insurance to treat patients within a private health care facility Current Advanced Life Support certification (ALS) Minimum 3 years Post graduate experience Previous experience in an acute care Hospital facility Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient centred care Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience, including airway management, non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen, CVC insertion Commitment to Professional Development Salary Salary Range $245k to $395k plus superannuation (pro rata) Contact For a copy of the Position Description please email the Executive Assistant Sharlene Jones (email protected) If you are seeking further information about this position please contact CEO Keith Cock on 6*** or email (email protected) #J-18808-Ljbffr
