Our Domestic Assistant Support Workers have the admirable and inspiring role to act with respect for people’s rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision‑making. We do so by caring for the elderly and disabled in their homes day-to-day. You will be joining a kindhearted team that devotes time to enabling client independence and building relationships within the community. Responsibilities Provide at‑home support for our community‑based clients, travelling from home to home. Assist with the following duties: Mopping floors Dusting Cleaning bathrooms and toilets Laundry and ironing Food preparation Ensuring only safe products are used during supports Provide care, supports and services in a safe and competent manner, as detailed in the Support Plan. Promptly raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of care. Act with respect for the privacy of people. Be receptive to an individual’s needs and wishes. Previous experience undertaking cleaning services in non‑commercial and/or aged care/NDIS environments is well regarded. Qualifications Must be available from Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm or 7am‑3pm. Must be able to service areas including, but not limited to, Canning Vale and surrounding areas. A current First Aid/CPR certificate (willingness to obtain).
