We are seeking a Senior Scheduler / Managing Consultant to support the successful delivery of a complex enterprise operating model implementation for one of our education‑sector clients. This role will provide expert structure and control to the transformation program through robust scheduling, dependency management, and milestone tracking – ensuring clear visibility of progress and alignment across multiple workstreams. The successful candidate will bring deep experience in program scheduling, portfolio management, and PMO governance, ideally gained within a large‑scale operating model or transformation program in education, public sector, or similar environments. Initial 3‑6‑month FTC. The opportunity #yourrole By joining Tranzformd, you will be working with ASX listed companies on transformation strategies, initiatives and programs of work. This might include but is not limited to the following : Integrated Scheduling:Develop and maintain the master integrated program schedule encompassing all key workstreams (design, technology, process, people, change). Ensure schedules are realistic, interlinked, and aligned with overall program objectives. Dependency & Milestone Management:Identify, map, and track key dependencies across workstreams; maintain visibility of critical path items and escalation points. Ensure program milestones are clearly defined, sequenced, and achievable. Program Coordination:Partner with workstream leads to translate plans into detailed schedules, monitor progress, and adjust for slippage or reprioritization. Facilitate planning sessions and schedule reviews to maintain delivery discipline. Governance Support:Support PMO and Program Director with high‑quality reporting packs, dashboards, and schedule updates for governance forums and steering committees. Standards & Tooling:Ensure consistent application of scheduling and planning standards, using appropriate tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI). Maintain clear documentation and version control for all planning artefacts. Advisory & Quality Assurance:Provide expert advice on scheduling practices, risk management, and delivery dependencies, helping the client build long‑term internal capability. Required Qualifications 7+ years' experience in program scheduling, PMO, or transformation delivery support. Proven track record supporting large‑scale operating model or transformation programs. Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid). Excellent analytical, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills. Advanced proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, etc.). Experience within education, higher education, or related public sector organisations strongly preferred. Consulting experience desirable – ability to work with clients, influence stakeholders, and operate in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
