Delivery Driver/ Storeperson

Bidfood Dandenong is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Storeperson at our Dandenong South branch. This role suits someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, stays focused under pressure, and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It’s physical, practical and essential to the success of hospitality businesses. With well-maintained vehicles, a supportive team and a laid‑back yet professional environment, you’ll help keep cafés, kitchens and venues stocked and running smoothly. You’ll build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted part of their day – delivering not just products, but reliability and great service. About the role On a typical day you’ll pick and assemble customer orders, load trucks, manage inbound stock and deliver orders safely and efficiently while representing Bidfood out in the field. The role will also require you to: Pick and assemble goods accurately Load trucks efficiently and safely Unload stock and place items in customer locations Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition Uphold food safety and hygiene practices Receive, put away and rotate stock Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations Work overtime when required to meet demand About you We’re looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard, and takes pride in doing a job properly. You’re the kind of person who gets along with just about anyone, shows up on time and genuinely enjoys a job well done. You’re confident and courteous behind the wheel and take customer service seriously – even when it’s just a quick drop‑off. A good relationship with customers is important – a friendly yarn during deliveries is always appreciated. Skills and experience To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid work ethic, physical readiness and a willingness to work across different environments as part of a reliable team.
