Aged Care Cleaner - Ballina and Byron Bay Location: Ballina & Byron Bay, NSW Employment Type: Part-Time Opportunities Available (Monday to Sunday) Facility Locations: Byron Lodge, Byron Bay About the Role: This role involves a mix of general cleaning and laundry across resident rooms, common areas, and staff areas. You’ll be working in environments that house elderly residents, so a respectful and compassionate approach is essential. Key Responsibilities: General cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and staff facilities Safe operation of cleaning and laundry equipment Proper handling and use of cleaning products Adherence to infection control procedures Prompt reporting of maintenance or safety concerns Supporting a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents What We’re Looking For: Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential) Willingness to work across all facilities in Ballina and Byron Bay Good communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of safe work practices and hygiene standards What You’ll Need: Right to work in Australia Willingness to undergo a criminal history check (conducted by St Andrews) Physical fitness and attention to detail Sound English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills What We Offer: Supportive team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and development Meaningful work that makes a real difference How to Apply: If you’re passionate about cleanliness and care, and want to be part of a team that values respect and community, we’d love to hear from you.
