Opportunity Join the Maroochydore team as an Exercise Scientist, a role dedicated to educating and supervising our clients on the training floor to achieve long‑term health outcomes through strength training. Responsibilities Actively engage on the training floor by conducting 1:1 and group sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients Apply scientific concepts (biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, motor control) and evidence‑based practices to support clients Provide evidence‑based advice on health, fitness, well‑being, and physical performance Develop and implement exercise prescriptions and plans for clients Establish, assess, and reassess goals for new and long‑term clients Guide athletes or clients with fitness goals to achieve peak performance and recover from injury Complete a range of administrative duties Consistently deliver high‑quality service in accordance with Kieser standards Required Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Exercise/Sports Science or related discipline with at least two of the following units: Physiology & Anatomy, Biomechanics/Human Movement, Exercise Programming/Prescription. OR currently undertaking third year (or subsequent) of study in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Relevant placement/practicum learning regarding Exercise Prescription. Valid working rights in Australia. First Aid & CPR Certification. Working with Children Check. National Police Check. Desirable 1+ years relevant work experience. Previous private practice experience. Previous experience with long term management of client outcomes in a strength training environment.
