An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team in this full time position at our Cairns base. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring stock integrity and compliance for all aircraft related parts, including tooling and general servicing equipment in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Core functions of this role include: Procurement, storage, identification and distribution of all aircraft related parts, equipment and supplies Timely and accurate receipt of inbound purchases and repairs from approved suppliers Inventory management, paying particular attention to stock line location accuracy and shelf life items (Quantum/Aerotrack software experience an advantage) Component warranty claims and preparation of shipping, customs, duty and dangerous goods documentation Authorisation and processing of supplier invoices for the accounts department Coordinate annual stocktake in accordance with company requirements Our ideal candidate will have: Experience within a Stores environment Experience within an aviation engineering environment Flexible approach, ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and handle frequent interruptions Strong administration skills – highly organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail Excellent customer service skills and ability to converse on all levels Ability to work independently, display initiative and work productively as part of a team Self‑motivated with a positive attitude Ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word Current forklift license an advantage Aviation stores experience is not essential but will be highly regarded. Successful applicants must have a commitment to safety and employment is conditional on satisfying aviation security and screening procedures. Must hold a current Australian drivers licence.
