You’ll work across cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and AI ecosystems to create technology that truly makes a difference in how NSW Health works, collaborates, and cares. In this role, you will: Lead full-cycle software development: design, develop, and deliver well-structured, scalable, and secure solutions that enhance both clinical and corporate workflows. Shape the modern workplace: build integrated digital experiences across cloud environments (Microsoft, AWS, and others), connecting people, processes, and data through automation, AI, and collaboration tools. Champion engineering excellence: embed design thinking, agile, DevOps, and modern software engineering principles to ensure every build is efficient, maintainable, and future‑ready. Drive innovation and experimentation: evaluate and introduce emerging tools, frameworks, and open‑source technologies to strengthen SDPRIA’s digital delivery capability. Empower and mentor: share expertise, develop playbooks, and foster a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and technical mastery across multidisciplinary teams. About You Demonstrated experience leading the design and delivery of AI and machine learning solutions, including Generative AI, to solve complex healthcare or large‑scale public sector challenges. Proven expertise in AI platforms like Azure AI, AWS, Google Cloud, and open‑source tools, with skills in prompt engineering, LLM integration, and responsible AI aligned to public sector standards.
