Assistant BDM – Medium Density & House and Land Melbourne - Permanent Newly created role within a high growth Developer/Builder BDM in training role – learn from current high-performing BDM’s No BDM experience needed but it essential you have industry experience in Home Building/Residential Construction/Land or Built Form development Monday to Friday only, with no weekends The Company Our client is a market leading and highly reputable Residential Builder & Property Developer with strong relationships throughout the industry. You will be joining a company that has already achieved great success and is a trusted name, but is also in a high growth phase. The Role In this newly created role you will report to the Wholesale Sales Manager and join an existing team of high-achieving senior BDM’s who you will be able to learn from for your first approximately 12+ months before becoming a stand-alone independent BDM. In this time you will develop strong product knowledge and knowledge of their systems and processes, support the team with managing stock lists and putting together packages, develop presentation skills and take on a few of your own channel agent partners to manage. Skills, Qualifications & Experience As a prerequisite, we are looking for industry experience and product knowledge of Townhomes and House & Land, however you do not need to have had prior BDM experience. We are open to experience from any role including Project/Contracts Administration, Sales Administration/Coordination and even applicants from Retail Sales looking to move to Wholesale. Additionally you will have: Strong interpersonal, communication, account management and relationship building skills Self‑motivation and aspiration to achieve sales targets Career aspirations to become a BDM Ability to work autonomously and within a Team environment Culture & Benefits This business prides itself on its strong organisational culture with a friendly and social close‑knit team. This position is available for an immediate start for the successful candidate (or with a 4 week notice period). Once you have completed all the training & development to become a BDM (After 12+ months) you will have very flexible working arrangements with most of the team working predominantly from home and on the road. A salary comprised of a base salary and bonuses is on offer, with a review and even higher earning potential once you become a BDM.
