A rewarding opportunity is available for a General Practitioner to join a premier medical centre located within the busy Epping Plaza shopping centre in Melbourne, VIC . The practice is strategically positioned adjacent to the Northern Hospital and specialist precinct, ensuring high patient flow and strong referral pathways. With high patient numbers, the successful GP will easily build a patient base quickly. The role involves providing comprehensive, continuing medical care for individuals and families, managing both acute and complex conditions, and delivering a full range of services including prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Duties also encompass consulting collaboratively with other health professionals, participating in health promotion, and assisting in the education of colleagues. The centre is offering relocation support to facilitate a smooth move. The facility is newly renovated and expanded, offering a state-of-the-art environment with 25 GP rooms, a well-equipped 4-bed Treatment Room, and 3 private procedure rooms specifically designed for skin, women's health, and occupational health services. The team composition is strong, featuring a great management team and experienced Registered Nurses available during all open hours. Support is extensive, including robust qualified nursing support for procedures like Health Assessments and Care Plans, dedicated administrative assistance, and strong backing for Chronic Disease Management (CDM). A full range of Allied Health professionals are available on-site to compliment care plans. The collaborative team environment provides full support to help the GP develop their practice from day one. Special interest opportunities are a core focus, with established clinics in Women's Health, Occupational Health, and Skin Cancer, offering a chance to develop a subspecialty. The centre promotes high clinical autonomy, enabling the GP to "practice their way" through flexible consultation options, including appointments, walk-ins, or telehealth consults. Excellent flexible working arrangements are offered, including the availability of short-term agreements to integrate with the GP's lifestyle. The practice maintains a flexible approach with no exclusivity requirements, providing the freedom to maintain professional commitments at other current practices. Professional growth is actively supported through access to accredited CPD GP webinars and dedicated educational resources. Structured opportunities for experienced doctors to take on formal supervisor roles and mentor emerging professionals are also available. VR GP Specialist Registration and current AHPRA Registration are required.
