Associate, Major Client Group - Docklands, Melbourne See yourself in our team Business Banking is proud to support medium to large sized businesses across Australia. The Major Client Group division (also known as Corporate Bank elsewhere) is designed specifically to look after our largest and most complex customers, typically having debt requirements in excess of $50m and/or turnover in excess of $150m. Our customers operate across retail, wholesale, manufacturing and transportation sectors, including private and public companies and top 500 listed firms. We pride ourselves on delivering bespoke service, insights and creative solutions to help clients finance their growth. Do work that matters Are you currently working in finance or accounting and looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work in a collaborative team that handles the most complex transactions and builds relationships with some of Australia’s most well‑known brands? Responsibilities Prepare credit submissions for both new‑to‑bank and existing customers (applications for new facilities, increases to existing facilities and/or term extensions) Complete covenant monitoring and annual reviews for existing customers Work closely with other stakeholders within the business Qualifications Prior experience in a similar role, or a financial accounting background involving client interactions Prior exposure to a diversified portfolio of customers and cash flow lending Good understanding of financial statements Customer service experience ideally in a commercial or business banking environment Great stakeholder management and communication skills Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance and/or Commerce If you’re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you’ll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
