E&I Commissioning Technicians

THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking safety and quality conscious E&I Commissioning Technician to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. In this role, you will: Energise systems progressively in a safe, controlled manner. Verify instrumentation and control systems wiring against P&IDs and I/O lists Conduct functional testing of electrical equipment and instruments. Calibrate and prove safety interlocks, emergency stops, earth leakage devices, overloads and trip functions. Support dry and wet commissioning phases (no-load and load tests). Maintain accurate commissioning records, as-built documentation, green lines and test sheets for project handover. ABOUT YOU 2 years' experience in a commissioning role Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner Work well in group problem-solving situations Mining or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred but not essential for this role The successful candidate will have: Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech Certificate in Instrumentation Current Electrical License High-risk work License (with WP class) Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months) Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License White / Blue Construction Card ABOUT PHE GROUP & PHE MINING PHE Group is an electrical and instrumentation contractor with five specialist divisions and more than 50 years’ experience.
