This role is embedded within a complex public‑sector environment and requires strong leadership, exceptional stakeholder management, and deep experience delivering Workday Financials or large‑scale finance transformations. You will serve as the senior delivery lead for the Finance stream, ensuring end‑to‑end program oversight across planning, governance, design, data, integrations, testing, change, and deployment. Working within a multi‑vendor environment and alongside senior executives, you will drive alignment, clarity, and successful adoption of the new finance operating model and system. The opportunity #yourrole Lead the design and delivery of the Finance workstream within a large Workday program for a higher education or government client, ensuring alignment to programme strategy, timelines, governance, and scope. Act as the primary interface between Tranzformd, the client’s executive leadership (CFO, Finance Directors, Controllers), Workday partners, and internal project teams. Oversee end‑to‑end Workday Financials activities including configuration, reporting, testing, data migration, integrations, cutover strategy, financial controls, and business readiness. Drive alignment across key finance functions including Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Assets, Grants, Projects, and revenue processes. Manage programme RAID, governance forums, steering committees, approvals, and workstream interdependencies in accordance with public‑sector governance standards. Lead future‑state process design aligned with higher‑education / government regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements. Partner with organisational change teams to ensure staff readiness, training, communications, and adoption across diverse finance user groups. Coordinate external vendors, system integrators, data teams, and business SMEs to deliver a cohesive, integrated programme outcome. Ensure programme risks, issues, scope decisions, budget status, and dependencies are proactively managed and communicated. Uphold Tranzformd’s consulting standards, client engagement practices, and delivery excellence principles. Required Qualifications : Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering Workday Finance or large‑scale ERP Finance transformations. Demonstrated delivery experience in higher education or government / public sector. Strong understanding of finance processes and controls: P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, AP / AR, asset management, grants, projects, and statutory reporting. Ability to drive programme governance, senior stakeholder engagement, multi‑vendor coordination, and strategic decision‑making. Experience leading cross‑functional delivery teams (data, finance, IT, change, integrations). Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of working with executive leadership, steering committees, and audit / regulatory stakeholders. Experience implementing Workday. Comfortable navigating complex operational environments with competing priorities and high public accountability. Who are you joining?
