This is your chance to inspire and equip students with the practical skills and knowledge to make a meaningful difference in health services. This role will see you delivering classes from our Geelong City Campus throughout terms one through three and out on the road completing workplace assessments during the fourth term. Classes are planned for Tuesdays and Thursday with scope of a prepping and assessing day on either Monday (preferred) or Wednesday. Your cohort will vary from school leavers to mature aged learners with an interest in exercise and health ready to commence a new career. Our teachers are provided with training and supports across the organisation to gain confidence in our systems and technologies. Responsibilities Prepare, deliver and assess vocational education and training programs using a variety of teaching methods (including flexible delivery, on-the-job training and assessment). Research, adapt and develop innovative learning practices that meet student needs and industry standards. Create inclusive learning programs for students from diverse backgrounds and abilities, applying appropriate support and modified strategies where required. Contribute to the broader teaching team through course advice, student selection, enrolments, promotional activities, graduation, and administrative tasks. Check out the Position Description to find out more About You You will have a passion for teaching and supporting students to succeed both in the classroom and in workplace settings with strong communication and organisational skills, the agility to adapt your approach to suit different learning styles and meet student needs. You will also have a genuine desire to deliver engaging lessons, develop and continuously improve on course materials. Qualifications Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110) Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance with 3 years industry experience or be a registered Allied Health professional (i.e. physiotherapist, exercise physiologist or an occupational therapist with manual therapy and assist with movement experience) A collaborative and flexible mindset, with the willingness to step into varied teaching environments It is highly desired and would be advantageous if you hold your Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, equivalent or higher (or have a willingness to complete within the next two years). Salary Range Teacher L1.1 to L1.3 | $80,939 to $92,308 p.a. (pro rata) | AQF4 teaching qualification Teacher L2.1 to L2.4 | $93,650 to $103,998 p.a. (pro rata) | AQF5 teaching qualification Teacher L3.1 to L3.5 | $107,302 to $123,284 p.a.
