We are partnering exclusively with a growing financial services group who are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager for a 12 month fixed term assignment to lead complex, high-impact change across a growing wealth management, superannuation and investment manager. This is a key role for an established change professional who can operate strategically and deliver hands‑on outcomes in a fast‑paced, highly regulated business. Reporting to the Head of Change Management, you will lead end‑to‑end change management for major programs and enterprise‑wide initiatives, partnering closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to drive successful delivery, seamless adoption and measurable business outcomes. You will also support continuous improvement and capability uplift of the broader change and project management function. Key responsibilities Lead the design execution of fit‑for‑purpose change management strategies and plans for major programs and projects, aligned to business strategy and objectives. Own end‑to‑end change delivery, including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and resistance management to enable sustained behavioural change and benefit realisation. Build trusted relationships and coach leaders, project teams and external partners to drive alignment, agility and a culture of continuous improvement. Proactively identify, assess and manage change‑related risks, issues and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and providing clear, transparent reporting to project and executive stakeholders. Ensure adherence to the organisation’s Change Management Operating Model, standards and best practice, contributing to the reputation and quality of the Group PMO services. Support continuous improvement and capability uplift initiatives across the change and project management functions, and act as a visible advocate for the value of change management. Stay current with wealth management and change management trends, bringing external insight into internal practices. Experience Required Change management certification (e.g. Prosci) is essential; a degree in change management or related discipline is advantageous. 8+ years’ experience in change management with a proven track record delivering complex change for large organisations. Deep experience in wealth management, superannuation and / or investment products, ideally including WRAP platform change. Demonstrated success delivering change in a fast‑paced environment with strong change acceptance and adoption metrics. Advanced change leadership skills, with the ability to foster a strong (often virtual) team environment and influence stakeholders across functions. Strong commercial acumen, comfortable working with functional leaders to shape strategic and operational change decisions. Significant experience engaging with Executive and senior management stakeholders. Advanced MS PowerPoint skills and strong written and verbal communication capability. This organisation is on a growth trajectory and has an amazing culture, is super flexible with 2 days in Sydney CBD office and 3 days WFH and is offering a salary of up to $220k package.
