The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Graduate Physiotherapist to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for you to progress your physiotherapy career learning from and working with our excellent Allied Health Team. This 18month rotational position progresses through the Inpatient Orthopaedic/ Reconditioning, Day Program/Outpatient Orthopaedic/ Reconditioning & Neurological Physiotherapy streams. Your duties in this role will include: Managing a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation for the management of a diverse range of conditions, including post-Orthopaedic surgery, post-spinal surgery, musculoskeletal conditions, Neurological conditions e.g. CVA, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and other conditions. Providing Physiotherapy intervention in individual and group settings in the gym, ward, and hydrotherapy environment. Participating in developing appropriate discharge plans within the multidisciplinary team. Working both independently and within a team structure. Reporting to the Inpatient Therapy Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
