Job Description Aurora Dairies is looking for a Senior Farm Hand (or Farm Hand) for a dairy farm near Elizabeth Town, Tasmania (20 minutes from Deloraine). The farm covers approximately 650ha, with 315ha under a 6‑centre pivot irrigation system peaking at 1300 cows, a 54‑bail rotary shed with ACRs, auto‑teat spray, and auto‑drafting with a Delpro computer system capable of individual cow feeding. The farm is 100% spring calving beginning in mid‑July with a mixed‑size herd comprising both small and large frame cows. It runs three herds most of the year, uses halters to assist with easy entry and exit from paddocks and dairy, and is predominantly pasture‑based with a big focus on safety, communication, teamwork, animal health, and pasture management.
