We have an immediate need for Project Managers in Sydney with proven skills and experience in the Defence Industry. These roles sit within our Service Delivery Team and will see you providing project management consulting services to our clients, while reporting to the Project Director. We are looking for people who possess high attention to detail, are focused on innovation and are known for their ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. We are after a diversity of skill levels in this speciality, and while consulting experience would be great, we can help you to develop those skills if you haven’t consulted before.Our Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders whilst working within or managing a project team. You have experience in project management in the Australian Defence environment and can proactively identify project risks and start to find appropriate solutions. You have an understanding of project management methodologies (preferably with an Agile, PMP, MSP, MoP, PRINCE2, PMBOK) or an interest to obtain a similar certification.Being a Defence consultancy, please note all Coras team members are required to be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a AGSVA Security Clearance.Required skills and attributes include:Previous experience providing Project Management Services in a Professional Services environmentA strong track record of managing resources to ensure all deliverables are achievedHigh level of emotional intelligencePersistent, resilient, and proactive problem-solverCurious listener with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and simplyOrganised and can manage competing priorities without losing sight of detailsHaving these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory):Experience in the One Defence Capability System (formerly known as the Capability Life Cycle)Defence land, maritime or air domain project experienceProject Scheduling experience using Open Plan ProfessionalKnowledge of the defence industry and the ASDEFCON suiteAbove the line support directly to the CommonwealthCoras prides itself on being a management consultancy with a difference.
