Machine Operator

We’re looking for a hands‑on, safety‑focused Machine Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you’ll safely operate machinery such as excavators, forklifts, and loaders, to sort, grade, and process metals. Your responsibilities will include: Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers Operate plant equipment including material handlers, forklifts, loaders, and excavators (where licensed) Grade, sort, and manage metals to meet operational and quality standards Maintain site compliance with environmental guidelines and OH&S policies Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers Support afternoon shift operations with leadership and initiative Cleaning and preparing our main production plant each day to ensure it’s ready for operation.
