Role The Head of Clinical Governance and Aged Care is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for the clinical service delivery across Aged Care services, including high-risk and complex cases. The position focuses on clinical governance, program development and growth, risk management, regulatory compliance and workforce capability, ensuring the delivery of person-centred outcomes aligned with Aged Care and NDIS standards that strengthen Police HomeCare’s offering. Reporting to the General Manager and leading Aged Care Coordinators and clinical staff, this is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned leader or emerging professional ready to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership of clinical service delivery across Aged Care services, including management of high-risk and complex cases. Drive clinical governance, program development and growth, risk management and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement workforce capability plans to support safe, person-centred care. Ensure alignment with Aged Care and NDIS standards, frameworks and reform initiatives. Lead policy development, continuous improvement and performance monitoring. Oversee financial management related to clinical services and resource planning. Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration, partnerships and service innovation. Report to the General Manager and lead clinical staff, including Aged Care Coordinators. Qualifications Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification with demonstrated expertise in aged care governance and compliance. Proven ability to manage complex care and high-risk cases. Strong understanding of Aged Care and NDIS standards, frameworks and reform. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, workforce leadership and change management capabilities. Ability to drive service innovation and program growth while fostering a culture of safety, compliance and person-centred care.
