Job Role: Multi-skilled Maintenance EngineerJob Type: PermanentLocation: Deeside areaClient: Consumer ManufacturingRotating shiftsOur client is a renowned and admired FMCG manufacturing giant enjoying UK dominance and market leading status in their category sector. An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer; mechanical or electrical bias, to hit the ground running on a permanent basis. Electrical qualifications are preferred for this roleKey Responsibilities – Multi-skilled Maintenance EngineerResponsible for a combination of planned and reactive maintenance and technical challenges to ensure maximum line efficiencyPerform fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipmentAttend to breakdowns onsite ensuring a rapid response on plant equipment and machinery breakdownsCarry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of Automation machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robotsDeliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative and predictive maintenance.Ensure the efficient running of a continuous process, moving and packing high quality products, packaged and prepared for deliveryContinually improving performance of equipment and systems to support the development of the siteAgree preventative electrical maintenance plansQualifications & Requirements – Multi-skilled Maintenance EngineerApprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline in electrical mechanical in maintenance engineeringIdeally automated materials handling and or packaging machinesProduction line experience but qualified engineers will be offered training and developmentA proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal developmentWhat we can offer – Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineera competitive salary just short of £50k plus package excellent pension and Bens and discountsa developing site and business with ongoing investmenttraining and developmentFor more information on this role, please contact who are currently a multi-skilled engineer, mechanical electrical engineer, shift engineer, engineering technician , electrical engineer, packaging engineer, maintenance engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical biased engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, shift engineer or maintenance engineer may be suitable for this position.Omega is an employment business specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors.
