The Role We're looking for an experienced QA Engineer who's passionate about delivering quality software and thrives in a fast-moving product environment. You'll own the testing lifecycle across manual and automated workflows, collaborating closely with engineers and product managers to ensure every release is robust, secure, and scalable. You'll be joining a collaborative Sydney team that values initiative, documentation, and open communication. The environment is Agile, direct, and fast-paced—perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing product quality, and seeing their work in production. What You'll Do Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for web and API-based products. Perform both manual and automated testing across UI, API, and backend systems. Design and manage regression and integration test suites. Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and delivery leads to improve test coverage. Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects and risks. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. Participate actively in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. What You'll Bring 5+ years of QA or software testing experience within SaaS or product environments. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Strong understanding of web, API, and backend testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and defect tracking tools. Excellent communication skills—able to explain testing outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive mindset and comfort working in changing, high-ownership environments.
