Elite Engineering Group Pty Ltd – Mount Hawthorn WA Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Services, this role combines both diagnostic engineering and report writing responsibilities. The position involves conducting detailed diagnostic investigations to identify the root causes of structural or material damage for insurance claims, asset owners, or building stakeholders. You will prepare comprehensive causation reports and scopes of works, outlining the nature and extent of damage as well as the recommended remediation strategies. In addition to the diagnostic aspect, you will assist in the development of complete design packages for the repair and remediation of affected structures. This includes preparing detailed computations, drawings, specifications, and reports to support construction and repair activities. Key Responsibilities Inspect and assess existing buildings and structures to determine the cause and extent of damage. Identify design and construction defects in accordance with relevant building codes and standards. Collect and interpret technical data using specialized equipment. Maintain accurate, detailed site records and investigation documentation. Prepare engineering calculations for the repair of small to medium structures. Deliver high-quality design documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports. Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design intent and engineering standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
