Albury Tree Tops Early Education Care & Preschool – Albury NSW Albury Treetops Early Education, Care and Preschool is opening its doors for the very first time, and we are inviting an Early Childhood Teacher to join us in shaping this new beginning. Our service has been created with intention and care, guided by a vision of reimagining early learning. Our environments are generous and beautiful, designed to honour children as capable, connected learners and to invite educators to teach with curiosity, presence and depth. We are seeking an ECT who brings creativity, joy and a can do attitude. Someone who leads with both heart and clarity, and who can inspire and support others as we grow our pedagogical culture from the ground up. Art based knowledge and creative backgrounds are highly valued, as we see the arts as a powerful language for children and educators. Experience is preferred, though we value reflective thinking, a willingness to learn and a commitment to thoughtful practice just as much. What you’ll be doing Designing inquiry based learning that grows from children’s ideas, questions and emerging theories Using the EYLF and theory with depth, translating them into intentional, meaningful curriculum choices Observing closely and documenting learning in ways that honour children’s thinking and creative expression Creating environments that breathe with children and invite curiosity, experimentation and aesthetic sensibility Approaching daily routines as rituals that offer connection, presence and belonging Offering leadership that is steady, relational and inspiring, supporting educators to grow their practice with confidence and creativity Helping shape the culture, rhythms and identity of a new service grounded in slow pedagogy and reimagining early learning Ensuring children’s wellbeing, safety and rights are held with care and professionalism What we’re looking for Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent Experience in early childhood is preferred, especially in leadership, mentoring or program design A commitment to inquiry based learning and curriculum that is responsive, creative and intentional A strong appreciation for the arts as a language for thinking, expression and connection A reflective, curious educator who brings optimism, creativity and courage to their work A warm communicator who values genuine relationships with children, families and colleagues A respect for slow pedagogy, meaningful ritual and the power of unhurried interactions An appreciation of Reggio Emilia principles is preferred but not essential Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training Working With Children Check and eligibility to work in Australia What we offer Albury Treetops is more than a new building.
