About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Tennis Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will coach a diverse array of tennis programs at elite prestigious schools in Melbourne, including school-based programs (APS/GSV), private and group coaching, holiday camps, and major Xsoar events throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Coach APS school tennis programs, including weekly training sessions, Saturday inter-school matches, student trial selections, pre-season training and school community events Deliver and oversee junior introductory sessions to advanced development pathways and enrichment offerings tailored to student progression Coach private lessons, squads, and group sessions during term time, ensuring a high standard of delivery across all levels Coach at holiday tennis training camps, focusing on technical, tactical and physical development in a high-energy environment Coach at tennis events as required Assist with coach development as required, providing professional development through mentoring, feedback, professional development workshops and assistance with lesson planning Qualifications & Requirements Ideally minimum 3 years (preferable 5+ years) experience working within a coaching team (preferred) Tennis Australia coaching qualification (preferred) e.g. Junior Development or Cub Professional Tennis Australia Coach Member (preferred) WWCC, First Aid, CPR and Asthma (or willing to obtain) Working rights in Australia High playing standard (preferred) Flexibility to work at multiple venues if required Flexibility to work hours across peak operating hours Confidence and ability to plan and deliver lessons for all levels and ages Exceptional communication and relationship building skills Passionate about tennis and developing students Alignment with Xsoar Perform's values: Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Thinking Differently and Team Work Peak Coaching Hours Coach must be flexible to work across peak operating hours before and after school and weekends.
