About the role: We’re growing and looking for talented Software Engineers to join our expanding product and engineering teams at Shift. We have multiple opportunities across different squads – some full stack, others more front‑end or back‑end focused – depending on your strengths and interests. What you’ll do: Build and maintain reliable software applications using C# (.NET) and JavaScript/TypeScript (ReactJS). Work across the stack – or specialise in front‑end or back‑end development, depending on your focus. Participate in agile sprint planning, estimation, and delivery. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high‑impact features. Contribute to software design and architecture discussions. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Help monitor system performance and reliability, ensuring the team meets its SLOs. Stay curious and engaged with evolving development practices and tools. What you’ll bring: 3–5 years of professional software development experience. Proficiency with C# (.NET) and/or JavaScript/TypeScript (ReactJS) – ideally comfortable across both. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and exposure to event‑driven systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Solid understanding of Agile software development (Scrum or Kanban). A strong commitment to code quality, testing, and continuous improvement. Great collaboration and communication skills. A curious, problem‑solving mindset with a drive to learn and grow.
