Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) invites applications for the Finance and Corporate Services Project Officer role. The Project Officer works closely with Clinical and Corporate stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, within scope and aligned with organisational priorities, ensuring efficient use of resources for high‑quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Document and review current processes and supporting systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and integration. Conduct evidence‑based data analysis to support FCS projects. Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation. Develop accurate, timely reports for stakeholders, the Ministry of Health, NBMLHD Board, Executive and steering committees. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management, leading implementation of projects and/or initiatives and change management. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working collaboratively across various disciplines. Problem‑solving, conceptual thinking and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, including preparing project and meeting documentation. Understanding of policy and legislative environment or ability to gain such understanding. Conceptual and systems thinking for innovative approaches. Effective interaction with senior management and external stakeholders.
