We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to support project delivery across high‑profile sites. About the Role As a Project Engineer, you’ll assist with daily site operations and work closely with the Engineering team to help deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: Analyse drawings, models and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ) Development, management and implementation of achievable construction programs and project sequencing across multiple simultaneous projects Coordinate and liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors and team members, including providing project updates Set, review and manage project budgets and costs, and manage and submit variations Provide design coordination and manage the shop drawing process Manage materials procurement including purchasing of site related consumables Provide onsite supervision and liaise with site staff and monitor erection progress Maintain project related documentation such as SOWs / ITPs and WH&S Addressing and resolving technical issues which may arise About You We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow within a high‑performing team. To be successful, you’ll have: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in Australia (subcontractor or builder) Structural steel experience, including design, fabrication, logistics and construction management (essential) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or in a related field Knowledge with relevant Australian standards and regulations Proficiency with BIM software (e.g. Tekla, AutoCAD) and MS Project Proficiency with Microsoft Office Construction White Card and valid Driver’s Licence Great written and verbal communication, problem‑solving and time management skills, including ability to work face‑to‑face with clients and subcontractors Strong attention to detail A hands‑on, can‑do attitude and willingness to work across multiple sites What’s On Offer Exciting projects with Tier 1 clients Opportunity to be mentored by our founder and work in a high‑skill team Award‑winning company recognised for innovation and project delivery A supportive and tight‑knit culture where your voice is heard Career development as the business continues to grow #J-18808-Ljbffr
