What Your Typical Day Will Look Like The Account Coordinator role is a great place to start your career in the media and advertising industry. Reporting to the Account Director, this role plays a key support role delivering on simple client requests and administrative tasks for the team. It will also enable you to build foundational knowledge of business‑to‑business media planning and buying, providing exposure to best practices across a variety of industries and learning on the job. Establish an effective working relationship with our clients, agency partners, suppliers, and the wider media teams we work with. Support the team with media campaign setup and activation, campaign reporting, research and insights, and assist with planning and document preparation. Learn and apply entry‑level media maths and terminology, and use media industry tools and technology. Provide support and guidance on campaign analysis, client engagements, relationships, presentations, and reporting. General administration such as billing/invoicing and media reconciliations. Build a strong understanding of the AU media and advertising landscape (TV, radio, OOH, print, direct, programmatic, social & search). A Bit About You High attention to detail and naturally inquisitive. Proactive communication, and able to engage with stakeholders and teams at all levels. Highly organised and effective time management skills. Collaborative and enjoy working as part of a team. Natural curiosity – delivering great media work requires divergent thinking. Problem solver who can take a step back and review challenging briefs. Can tell stories with data. Builds strong internal and external relationships. Basic to mid‑level experience with MS Office suite, especially Excel. Natural enthusiasm and interest in the advertising and media industry, and keen to keep up to date with industry developments. Bachelor’s degree would be advantageous but not essential.
