The Opportunity We’re currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team at our Altona depot . If you’re looking for consistent shifts, a positive team culture, and the chance to make an impact in a fast-paced logistics environment — this role is for you. Shift: Afternoon (3:00pm start) Location: Altona Employment Type: Casual (ongoing shifts available for the right candidates - Potential to full-time) Key Responsibilities Safely load and unload PUD and interstate linehaul vehicles Ensure all freight is handled according to mass management and load restraint standards Verify consignments, weights, and documentation for accuracy and compliance Apply and check destination labels and DG compatibility Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times What You’ll Bring Proven experience in forklift operations and linehaul loading (essential) Strong understanding of mass management and load restraint principles Ability to follow WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements Familiarity with handheld scanning equipment Dangerous goods knowledge (advantageous) A proactive, reliable, and safety-first attitude Why You’ll Love Working With Us Be part of a growing national business that values its people Supportive and inclusive team environment Genuine career development and training opportunities A company culture built on safety, respect, and teamwork You’ll be joining a professional organisation that recognises hard work, rewards reliability, and provides opportunities to build a long-term career in logistics.
