About the Role As an Afternoon Shift Electrician you’ll join our reliability team, supporting maintenance operations to ensure our plant runs smoothly. This is a varied electrical role with strong career progression opportunities in a well‑maintained facility based in Somerton. Required Experience Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude Willingness to learn and grow Solid understanding of PLC systems and production technologies What You Will Bring To The Team Background as an Electrical Fitter, Maintenance Electrician, Industrial Electrician or Electrical Technician Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdowns Completion of an apprenticeship and a Grade A Electrical License What You’ll Love When You Join Us Shift incentives and stability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support You will help power a sustainable future by keeping critical recycling operations running smoothly while most of the world sleeps About Visy Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling.
