Employment Details Employment Type: Casual Position Classification: BI Ward Services Officer Remuneration: $34.02 per hour + Superannuation Location: Broken Hill What You’ll Be Doing Closely monitor work practices to prevent security breaches, Work closely with staff to ensure the health and safety of all persons in the workplace. Perform patient care activities and general assistance within ward areas under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Respond to requests for assistance from any department within the Broken Hill Health Service. Demonstrated skills to be able to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate effective, clear and concise communication skills. Demonstrated ability to monitor work practices, prevent security breaches and elevate breaches to immediate Line Managers. Able to demonstrate the requirements to provide and ensure the health and safety of all persons in the workplace. Demonstrated ability to serve as a resource for security issues. Demonstrated ability to perform patient care activities and general assistance within ward areas.
