St Mary's is an Explicit Instruction school using resources such as Ochre, Spelling Mastery and the Explicit Maths Program (EMP). The candidate must be willing to work within an Explicit Instruction Model. The candidate will work within a team and be supported through coaching and planning support. We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships with students and follow our school behaviour routines. St Mary's follows the Child Safe Standards. The school highly values the historical significance of the physical establishment dating back to the construction of the first school building in 1925 while ensuring that contemporary learning is happening in a Catholic environment. A major refurbishment of the school was completed in 1994, with a further extension of the administration building in 2007.
