Specialist Family Violence Hub Practitioner Join to apply for the Specialist Family Violence Hub Practitioner role at Berry Street We are seeking passionate and skilled Specialist Family Violence Practitioners to join our team at The Orange Door – Hume Merri‑bek Area . Working within a multi‑disciplinary team and under a matrix management model, you will play a critical role in supporting victim survivors of family violence through early intervention, safety planning, and risk assessment. Details Full time, Ongoing Position Broadmeadows location (Wurundjeri Country) $110K per annum + 11.5% Super & Salary Packaging ($15,900 p.a.) About the Role As a Specialist Family Violence Hub Practitioner, you will play a critical role in family violence risk assessment, safety planning and engagement of victim survivors and their children into any supports they need. This includes adopting an integrated approach to safety and child wellbeing. Referrals come from police, victims calling our service directly, or referrals from other services. You will provide support by contact victims by phone, face to face at The Orange Door (HMA) or through outreach appointments. Qualifications A Bachelor qualification in Social Work, or equivalent experience under the 7 Equivalency Principles. Experience working in the family violence sector, ideally in intake, triage or assessment. A strong understanding of the integrated family violence service system. Commitment to trauma‑informed, intersectional practice. Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
