This hands‑on role lets you earn while you learn, gaining valuable skills while completing a Certificate III Sports Turf Management. Over the next 48 months, you'll be part of a fully supported programme that blends on‑the‑job training with face‑to‑face classes approximately one day every three weeks at Penrith. About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working outdoors and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of our sporting fields, gardens, and public spaces. As a Greenkeeping Apprentice, you will develop valuable skills while supporting the team with day‑to‑day operations in the upkeep of council horticultural and greenkeeping assets. Remuneration From $ per week + 12% Superannuation Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications Capacity to undertake a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent Parks and Gardens qualification Good verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a team with a high level of motivation NSW Class C Motor Vehicle driver's licence Applicant must hold an active NSW Class C driver’s licence. Ability to attain an NSW General Construction Induction card (White card) as required Closing Date Sunday 30 November – apply as soon as possible as the role will close when filled.
