Plant Mechanic

WEM has a rewarding opportunity for a Plant Mechanic to join the team. This role is based in our workshop at Seven Hills and requires travel to job sites across the area. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose any issues and identify damage to the fleet/plant equipment Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery Conduct regular services to site machines or vehicles Source machinery parts for defect repairs or services Complete documentation for maintenance requests, repairs and orders as per company guidelines We Are Looking For Someone Who Has: Certificate III in Plant Operations. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of plant equipment, including brands such as Volvo, Kobelco, Bell, Hitachi, and CAT Valid MR Licence, Driver’s Licence, and White Card Expertise in component rebuilds and a strong ability to diagnose issues effectively Solutions-focused with adaptability to changing requirements Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed to a high-quality standard Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines Committed to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and practices. Proactive, positive, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
