Synergie Australia is seeking experienced HR Drivers to join our leading waste management industry located in Beresfield. Position Details Location: NSW – Beresfield Date of Publication: 03/11/2025 Industry: Automotive / Transport & Logistics Salary/Pay: Not disclosed Reference Number: Shift Day shift – Monday to Friday Hours: 4:30 am – up to 10 hours Pay Rate Front Lift Driver – $45.72 ph Side Lift Driver – $45.72 ph Start Date Immediate start available – long‑term opportunity Responsibilities Front Lift Driver Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required. Service C&I in the Newcastle area. Side Lift Driver Operate vehicles (including left‑hand drive) and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required. Service kerbside recycling bins in the Newcastle Council area. Qualifications Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (Australia) or Class 4 Licence (New Zealand) – minimum requirement. Proven experience operating a side lift, left‑hand drive, or rear lift waste collection vehicle. Previous experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential. Side‑lift driver/operator experience. Council contract experience. Strong work ethic with a clear understanding of the importance of reliability and punctuality. Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
