The Senior Manager – Infrastructure & End-User Compute (EUC) is accountable for the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of the infrastructure and workplace technology services. This includes data centres, servers, storage, collaboration tools, and end-user devices and services. Operating within a highly outsourced Tier 1 vendor environment, the role ensures that infrastructure and EUC services are reliable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives. This role leads a team of infrastructure and EUC professionals responsible for driving modernisation, optimising service delivery, and enabling a seamless user experience while maintaining high levels of availability, performance, and security. What you’ll do Define and execute the data centre and infrastructure strategy aligned with organisational goals. Lead modernisation initiatives for highly available, scalable, and high‑speed infrastructure platforms. Oversee capacity, performance, and resilience of core infrastructure services, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Implement ITIL‑aligned processes for incident, problem, and change management, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs. Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, vendor relationships, and outsourcing agreements to deliver secure, cost‑optimised solutions. Sponsor and deliver infrastructure projects on time, scope, and budget while championing automation and proactive monitoring. What you’ll bring Extensive experience managing large‑scale IT infrastructure in complex enterprise environments, with a strong focus on outsourced data centre operations. Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including high‑availability architecture, scalability, performance optimisation, and disaster recovery planning. Proven ability to define and execute infrastructure strategies, lead modernisation initiatives, and champion automation and proactive monitoring solutions. Strong understanding of ITIL‑aligned service management processes, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation practices. Demonstrated leadership capability in building and developing high‑performing teams, managing vendors, and overseeing outsourcing agreements. Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem‑solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time, scope, and budget.
