Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader Maintaining and replacing electrical equipment Execution of planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance Troubleshooting, calibrating, repair and service of fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets Testing and maintaining HV and power generation systems (Team Dependent) Working autonomously, being reliable and positively contributing to the maintenance team, understanding the requirement to maintain assets in a safe and reliable condition Being flexible and adaptable to changing business needs Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives which may involve working with many different disciplines within the organisation Promoting and identifying HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes and behaviours Execution of defined primary and secondary scopes from SAP (CMMS) What you'll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset An Australian 'Open' electrical license Proven history of fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment HV switching or instrumentation experience preferable What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you've helped the world progress. Processing bauxite from our mines in Weipa and Gove, Yarwun produces more than three million tonnes of smelter grade alumina annually. As one of the largest industries in the Gladstone region, Yarwun employs over 700 people and has a large contractor workforce. With a focus on safely improving our process every day, the team at Yarwun challenge themselves to use existing and emerging technology to support our 24 hour operation.
