Hero Engineering is seeking a conscientious Graduate Electrical & Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Perth, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative electrical and control and safety system solutions for a range of exciting projects across the Oil and Gas and Minerals industries. What you'll be doing Assisting with the design, development, and implementation of electrical and control systems for various engineering projects Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of project deliverables Conducting site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems Providing technical support and troubleshooting to address any issues that may arise Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures Foundation in Functional Safety for Process and Machinery applications. What we're looking for A recent graduate with a degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechatronic Engineering An understanding of electrical and control system design principles, including PLC programming and SCADA systems Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines Conscientious and Alert with an ability to learn What we offer At Hero Engineering, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
