Portfolio Delivery Lead – Enterprise PMO Brisbane based | $154k–$177k + Super | $20m portfolio | National Not-for-Profit One of our clients, a national not-for-profit organisation, is establishing a greenfield Enterprise PMO and is seeking an experienced Portfolio Delivery Lead to help shape the function while leading delivery across a complex, organisation‑wide portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior delivery leadership role where the work genuinely matters and where your ability to navigate complexity, influence outcomes, and build capability will be critical to success. The opportunity Reporting to the Head of ePMO, this role leads a team of approximately 10 Project Managers and oversees a $20 million portfolio of business transformation and technology initiatives. The portfolio spans a mix of business transformation, operational improvement, enterprise platforms (including ERP / SAP-type environments), and digital initiatives such as mobile applications. The ePMO function is newly formed, with projects already in flight and additional initiatives scheduled to commence next year. You’ll work closely with a Change Lead and Governance Lead, forming a core leadership group responsible for delivery excellence, adoption, and effective portfolio governance. Key responsibilities Lead portfolio delivery across multiple concurrent transformation and technology initiatives Directly manage, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Project Managers Help establish and embed pragmatic PMO ways of working in a greenfield environment Manage portfolio‑level planning, dependencies, risks, capacity, and budgets Balance governance with flexibility in a constrained, not-for-profit funding context Partner with business and technology leaders to align priorities and sequencing Work closely with the Change team to support adoption in a complex, layered organisation Build trust, buy‑in, and credibility across diverse stakeholder groups About you You are an experienced portfolio or program delivery leader who has helped build, uplift, or mature a PMO function in the past. While you don’t need to be deeply technical, you have a strong background working on technology-enabled change, can confidently engage with technical teams and understand how to align technology delivery with business outcomes. You’ll bring : Experience leading delivery in complex, distributed organisations A pragmatic and creative approach to delivery where budgets are tight Strong people leadership skills and a passion for coaching PMs The resilience and adaptability to navigate competing priorities The ability to influence without relying on hierarchy Experience in not-for-profit, education, or social impact environments will be highly regarded.
