Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal People. Roster: 8d 6R FIFO ex Perth Reporting to the Iron Bridge Senior Project Engineer, this role will be responsible for supporting Iron Bridge Operations through key project execution, support with contractor engagement & management, communication and being responsible for project budget management. Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Project Engineer in the delivery of brownfield and sustaining capital projects across site. Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from scoping, design review, procurement, construction, commissioning to close‑out. Develop and maintain project documentation including scope of work, schedules, cost tracking, and risk registers. Monitor and report on project progress through weekly updates, status reports, and KPI dashboards. Ensure all works are completed in compliance with Fortescue standards, Australian codes, and statutory requirements. Participate in site walkdowns, design validation, and commissioning activities. Promote a strong safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with all HSE procedures and JHAs. Qualifications and Experience Minimum 4+ years fixed plant or heavy industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in a projects role Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related discipline) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including piping, pumps, conveyors, chutes, and structural steel. High level of written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder engagement experience. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a proactive attitude. Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Mines legislations and regulations Knowledge of computer management systems, including SAP and MS Project About Us Be part of something big.
