About the Role Please note when applying this is a Casual role with varying hours of work. This is a chance to work with a flexible schedule that accommodates students, parents or those seeking additional hours. Expressions of interest for Female Disability Support Worker in the Redland Bay Area. As a casual Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person‑centred active support to people living with disabilities. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers genuine support in all domains of life, to enable access to quality of life with dignity, respect, and social inclusion. Shift Details The role is Casual Sleepover; shifts are available from Monday‑Sunday 2pm – 6am. Main Responsibilities Personal care: grooming, dressing, toileting, and showering Domestic assistance in housekeeping, and cleaning Assists participants with medications Community Access – Medical appointments Meal preparation About You You are reliable with a good work ethic. You pride yourself on providing personal care with dignity and respect. You understand the importance of providing individualised support in a home environment and out in the community. You’ll have experience in SIL/SDA and providing In Home support to disability participants. Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities (highly desirable) Experience in dementia (highly desirable) Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment) Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment) Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment) NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment) Full Australian working rights Smart phone with internet access Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required What we can offer you Opportunities to undertake training when needed Ongoing support from your Primary Facilitator Great team culture Annually training opportunities to foster your continuous learning Potential to pick up additional shifts in nearby areas with other supports should you be interested Weekly pay rate that is calculated against the SCHAD’s Award Real Community Services uses an App. to assist Support Workers for reporting purposes. Your agreement and capacity to use the App to fulfil reporting obligations forms part of your employment conditions. The minimum compatibility requirements for Android is version 4.4KitKat, and for iOS 9.0 (which is iPhone 5s or later).
