Category: DIDO Emergency Management FIFO Job Type: Casual Location: Mackay & Coalfields QLD South West QLD WA About The Opportunity Our Emergency Management Department is currently seeking experienced, proactive & adaptable ESO/Operators to join our expanding teams across the Central & Southern Queensland regions. Ideal applicants will have exposure to the coal mining industry and experience in emergency response services & Machinery Operations. Applicants are required to possess a high level of communication skills along with computer literacy & problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and within a team. Mandatory Qualifications Required Standard 11 Induction Open Manual Licence or above Current CPR & First Aid – HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID014, HLTAID015 HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing RII’s or SOA’s in Dump/Haul Truck, Dozer, Loader & Excavator Current QLD Coal Board Medical National Police Certificate (Issued within last 12 months) Certificate IV Health Care (Ambulance) or Diploma of Emergency Health Care (or higher) (Desirable) Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue, including the following units: PUAFIR207 – Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit PUAFIR210 – Prevent Injury PUAFIR316 – Identify, Detect and Monitor Hazardous Materials at an Incident PUAFIR324 – Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe PUASAR022 – Participate in a Rescue Operation PUASAR024 – Undertake Road Crash Rescue PUASAR025 – Undertake Confined Space Rescue PUASAR032 – Undertake Vertical Rescue RIIERR201E – Conduct Fire Team Operations PUAEQU001 – Prepare, Maintain and Test Response Equipment, or PMAWHS211 – Prepare Equipment for Emergency At Mining Skills Australia, we may also accept evidence of the above units of competency separate to the Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue.
