Recreation Officer – Metro South Health About This Role: Your new role: In this role, you will work as part of the Allied Health Assistant Team to design, deliver and review recreation programs that support patients' wellbeing and functional engagement during hospital admission. You Will Plan and implement individual and group recreation programs that enhance quality of life Screen patient needs, interests and abilities to create tailored recreation plans Deliver activity-based programs under the guidance of allied health clinicians Maintain activity equipment, resources and safe working environments Keep accurate records, data and documentation Support volunteers or students and participate in team quality activities About You You are creative, patient-focused and passionate about supporting people through engaging recreational activities. You bring strong communication skills, good organisation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
