Sorby Hills is Australia’s largest undeveloped near-surface lead–silver deposit, supported by granted mining leases, EPA approval, and proximity to established infrastructure, including Wyndham Port only 150 km away. With permitting and infrastructure already in place, Sorby Hills is uniquely positioned for fast-track production. Boab Metals Limited is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the Company’s financial future. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing Australian resources company with a strong project development pipeline and a commitment to operational excellence. About the Role As CFO, you will lead all financial, accounting, procurement and commercial governance functions across the business. You will be the Company’s financial steward—responsible for developing financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining robust systems and providing clear, data‑driven insights that support decision‑making at the highest level. This role requires a commercially astute and strategically minded leader with deep experience in the mining sector. You will partner closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership to drive financial performance, enhance capital discipline and support the transition of Boab Metals’ projects through development and into operations. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong financial, contracts and procurement systems and processes. Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and P&L reporting. Ensure timely and accurate capture and analysis of costs and revenues. Provide strategic financial advice to support corporate growth and operational readiness. Oversee statutory reporting, compliance and governance obligations. Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators and external partners. What You Bring 10+ years’ experience in a CFO or senior financial leadership role. CA or CPA qualification required. Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance and commercial analysis. Mining industry experience (essential). Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce or related discipline (minimum). Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders and navigate competing priorities. Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a hands‑on approach to execution. Australian work rights at the time of application. Why Join Boab Metals?
