Supply Chain Manager – STG Global | Specialist Truck Manufacturing Location: Australia (National Leadership Role) Are you a strategic and hands‑on supply chain leader ready to shape the backbone of a growing Australian manufacturing business? STG Global is expanding, and we’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager to drive operational excellence across our national production and service network. About the Role Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this role is responsible for end‑to‑end supply chain performance across STG’s manufacturing and service operations. You’ll lead supplier strategy, inventory optimisation, purchasing and inbound logistics to ensure our products are built on time, every time. This is a high‑impact leadership role that directly influences production schedules, customer delivery, commercial outcomes and supplier performance. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and execute national supply chain strategy Manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements and support global sourcing Oversee inventory planning, forecasting and stock optimisation Ensure efficient inbound logistics and warehousing processes Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering and Service to ensure materials availability Drive cost savings, supplier performance improvements and continuous improvement initiatives Lead and develop a high‑performing procurement and supply chain team What Success Looks Like Strong OTIF performance against production schedules Accurate, optimised inventory levels Cost reduction & supplier performance improvements ERP data accuracy & reliable BOMs Strong cross‑functional alignment and communication What You’ll Bring 5+ years’ experience in supply chain or procurement within manufacturing Ability to interpret technical drawings, parts lists & BOMs Strong negotiation and vendor management capability Solid experience with ERP systems Analytical, detail‑focused and commercially minded Bonus Points If You Have: Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Experience in automotive/heavy vehicle manufacturing Global sourcing or contract negotiation experience Lean or continuous improvement capability Why Join STG Global?
