Our Home offers all levels of permanent, respite and palliative care in a variety of single, double and companion rooms that have access to courtyard views.About the OpportunityReporting to the General Manager, our Senior Maintenance Officer is responsible for delivering general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings, Homes and associated structures in accordance with the Home Maintenance Plan to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facilityProvide supervision and coordination of site contractorsEnsure an aesthetic, compliant and safe working environmentEnsure maintenance and repairs of property including facilities including cleaning, painting, lighting maintenance, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, checking and maintaining air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal, and general repairsEnsure planned maintenance of Home assets is executed in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and legislative requirementsEnsure all maintenance activity complies with relevant legislation,Use preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and follow workflow proceduresCarry-out scheduled tasks within agreed timelinesWhat We Can OfferOur culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
