We are an established engineering firm based in South Australia. Our team of engineers has a wealth of experience and is steadily growing. Some of our team are actively involved in writing industry leading structural engineering analysis software. Our client base is steadily increasing. Our workload has consistently grown from a well established client base. We have work coming from all over Australia and occasionally from New Zealand and beyond. We predominantly service the shed, patio and pergola industries. Our work is in both cold rolled and hot rolled non-commercial structures. Our work extending into the residential housing and commercial industry. DUTIES MAY INCLUDE Checking Designs - Structural and civil design Structural analysis - numerous small to medium sized residential and industrial buildings Cyclonic design - Structural design of buildings located in design region C, D and NZ Liaise with other engineers, builders and project managers as required On-site inspections as required WE HAVE VARIOUS ROLES We have various roles from graduate positions to senior roles. Our senior roles we are keen to find candidates with 3 or more years of cold rolled experience, structural analysis or hot or cold rolled structures, or similar. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & AREAS WE WORK WITH Structural Engineering Degree or equivalent Senior roles need at least three years experience in Residential and Commercial projects in Australia Able to manage designs and projects autonomously Experience with structural software such as Mutiframe, SPACE GASS, Limcon or another structural software will be advantageous Strong written and verbal communication Knowledge of structural design and analysis of various structures such as steel design, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, timber and masonry buildings Geotechnical experience is advantageous An understanding of Australian Standards and Building Codes Understanding of the National Construction Code LOCATION These positions are full time positions based in our South Australian office (Wayville). #J-18808-Ljbffr
