As a Lead or Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will be capable of working with, mentoring and leading a passionate team of engineers and designers to produce engineering deliverables to Verbrec’s and clients' standards to a high standard in a timely fashion. The minimum requirements for the role are: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies. Proven Australian experience in pipeline design including concept development, FEED and detail design phases. Knowledge of Pipeline Integrity and Operations and Maintenance philosophies will be advantageous. In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations and codes related to the pipeline industry. Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain). Ability to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to manage your time and work independently. Ability to manage the workload and utilisation of junior engineers. Proven experience with mentoring junior engineers. On the back of continued growth and project success, our Brisbane office is looking for a Lead/Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their team As a Lead/Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for: Providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines Developing and supporting FEED and Designs studies including detailed design calculations Developing and supporting the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets Participating and supporting in Risk assessment & SMS workshops Proactively communicating with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget. Ability to manage and track single-discipline projects Preparing and supporting cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages.
